“We must love each other through this —
bearing one another’s pain, and affirming for each other the promise that
neither death nor life;
nor angels,
nor principalities;
neither things present,
nor things to come;
neither Kaposi’s
nor pneumocystis,
nor any syndrome
nor anguish,
nor pain,
nor the hatred of those who fear us;
nor anything else in all creation,
can separate us from the love of God
or keep us from the realm prepared for us from the beginning of the world.”
(John Fortunato, aids: The Spiritual Dilemma)
World aids day
Prayers today for those whose lives have been touched by hiv/aids,
For The continent of Africa which is being devistated by this pandemic,
For those who have died from this illness that God mayt give peace to their families,
For the long time survivors that they may continue to be a witness,
For the spouses and families that they may continue to provide support to hiv/aids loved ones,
For the Doctors, scientsts, researchers that they may have God’s wisdom in fighting this illness,
For us all that we may not grow weary in the fight.
